How the Sleep Companion works
Tap Start Sleep Mode and the screen becomes a peaceful night sky. A gentle glow breathes softly around the guardian angel, which helps a child settle. Choose a calming sound — rain, ocean waves, a soft heartbeat, or a lullaby — and set the volume and screen brightness as low as you like.
A breathing guide for anxious nights
For children who feel worried or wound-up at bedtime, turn on the breathing guide. The glow slowly grows and shrinks in a steady four-seconds-in, four-seconds-out rhythm, with “Breathe in… / Breathe out…” prompts. Slow breathing is one of the simplest, most effective ways to help a child calm down and drift off.
A goodnight prayer
Each session shows a short, gentle bedtime blessing — including the classic “Now I lay me down to sleep” and the Aaronic blessing. Tap Next blessing to cycle through them. It’s a quiet, screen-free way to end the day with faith.
A sleep timer that fades to silence
Set a 15, 30, 45 or 60-minute timer and the sound will fade out gently and the screen will dim to black — so nothing jolts your child awake once they’re asleep. The app also keeps the screen on while it’s running, so it won’t lock mid-story.
Made to sit beside a real bedtime friend

Is it really free and safe?
Yes. The Sleep Companion runs entirely in your browser — there are no accounts, no data collection, and no ads inside the sleep screen. All the sounds are generated on the device, so once the page has loaded it keeps working even without an internet connection. You can even add it to your home screen and open it like a regular app.
