Your Guardian Angel

The beautiful truth that God gives every person a special angel to watch over them — day and night, wherever they go

Your Guardian Angel

"For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

— Psalm 91:11

Have you ever wondered if you are ever truly alone?

The Bible tells us something wonderful: God loves you so much that he has given you your very own angel to watch over you.

A guardian angel is like a gentle, invisible protector — always nearby, always watching, always ready.

Your guardian angel was there the day you were born, looking down at your tiny face with great joy. Your angel travels with you when you go to school, when you visit grandma’s house, and when you fall asleep at night. Your angel sees every prayer you whisper, even the ones you’re almost too shy to say.

Angels are messengers of God. They are strong and bright and full of goodness. But they are also gentle. The Bible describes them watching over people with great care — like a mother bird spreading her wings over her chicks to keep them safe and warm.

Jesus himself said: “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)

That’s how important you are. Your guardian angel stands before God himself, speaking on your behalf.

When you feel afraid in the dark, you can close your eyes and remember: your angel is right there beside you. When you are worried or sad, you can say a little prayer: “Dear guardian angel, please stay close to me today.”

You are never, ever alone.

Tonight, when you say your prayers, you might like to thank God for the angel he sent just for you.
